Love this set.

Beautiful

The Lenox Federal Platinum Frost flatware really is beautiful. At first I was trying to add pieces to my existing Cambridge Flatware (that we have since realized looks a bit like the Federal Frost) but the pattern was long gone. That started a hunt for the perfect replacement. My husband and I saw a lot of different flatware. Nothing jumped out at us as worth moving on from our existing flatware. I finally saw the Lenox Platinum Pearl in the store and thought it was a possibility. When I went back with my husband--it was no longer in the store to see. Then I noticed online that the Lenox was on sale. I ordered 12 settings of the Platinum Pearl and on a whim--because it looked nice to my husband--also ordered 12 place settings of the Lenox Federal Platinum Frost sight unseen. When they got to the house the Federal Platinum Frost was just beautiful. They look like little pieces of art. The Platinum flatware has a bend in the handle that I wasn't expecting and I thought might be a negative/deal breaker. But based on how beautiful the flatware was we decided to move ahead with the Federal Platinum. It has been a great decision. Compared to the Pearl I thought the Pearl had a really comfortable fork and handles--very smooth and rounded edges. The cutting part of the butter knife of the Pearl was oddly small in my opinion. Style wise we just felt the Federal Frost was more beautiful. The Federal Frost had a bend in the handles including the knife that I wasn't sure about but has been fine. The bend rests over your hand nicely. The knife was a great size. I put them in the dishwasher. There can be spotting but that is easily wiped off with a little vinegar and then water rinse--or just rinsing with water and drying. For everyday use the spotting is minor but if having a dinner party could easily wipe off. I don't have any data of longevity yet. Just bought these within the last month. The only thing I would have liked was for Macy's to have a better way to display offered flatware. They are all in boxes and not everything is in stock so without a display you can't see what you may want. In the end, we got something we are very happy with. We were able to return the unused still boxed Platinum Pearl sets no problem.

Very durable and attractive place settings. They have a great feel. We have had this set for over a year and they look and feel as if they are brand new.

Beautiful flatware!

I purchased 12 sets of this for my daughter off her wedding registry. Nice weight to each piece and quality finish. I know she will enjoy it for many years.
