love my dishes!!

These square plates are beautiful and I love the corner detailing. They are a little larger than I had hoped and do not sit on top of the dinner plates evenly so when having a salad they take up a little too much room on the table next to the plate. They make excellent dessert plates as well or plates for the main coarse if you are having something lighter that doesnt require room for sides. I choose to hand wash these dishes even though it says they are dishwasher safe. Reading some of the reviews seeing that they do tend to chip or get tiny cracks after a while, I just dont want to take any chances and dont mind preserving them by handwashing.
