not safe for microwave

It says microwave safe. But it is not! When we put in it appears sparks on the inside painting spot.

Perfection

Fully obsessed. They are stunning and large. Fit so much. The gold accent rim is gorgeous. they don’t get overly hot at all in the microwave and have been in the dishwasher multiple times with no issues.

Nice design.

These bowls look great and I love that they are dishwasher safe. I suggest using pot holders or hot pads if you use them in the microwave, because they can get hot. They were a gift for a university student who likes them.

Fantastic dishes

I updated my kitchen and decided to replace my 20 year old dinnerware. I knew I wanted Lenox because of the quality, and Blue Bay looked like a fun and modern pattern. When my dishes arrived, I couldn't have been happier. I love the mix and match designs, the wavy texture, and the sizes of the various pieces. The pasta bowls are so versatile. They're not just for pasta-also great for seafood, stews and chilis, salads, and I served lamb shanks over mashed potatoes in them. They're perfect for polenta dishes and risotto. The pattern doesn't overpower or compete with the presentation of the food, and the bowls go right into the dishwasher or microwave. Love these dishes!
