It’s trash
It has bad wings lacking design and gray outlines plus it is upside down and it’s better to just get it for tie pilots

Sorry that everything wasn’t awesome with the set. Our imperial engineers work hard to make TIE fighters that everyone can enjoy throughout the galaxy and your feedback helps us make them even better. We'll ask R2D2 to forward your comments to our design team. That way, Lord Vader won't get to them.

Very Nice Lego Set
This lego is very nice, the only downfall is the wings of the tie fighter rattling but overall this is a very good set, it comes with two minifigs and is a very good price for it.

Its alright
I wish that the tie fighter looked a bit more like a tie fighter but eh. The figures and the little rebel... thing was cool.

I liked the microfighters better
I bought this set to to have a cozy star wars lego day. I have the Tie fighter microfighter and I found that was a lot more fun to build and have more hinges and things to play with, tho the age recommendation of the microfighter model is 8-12 rather than 4+ of this set. I love the death star model piece tho. It's not a sticker which makes me very happy. Nice for a child, maybe not so nice for picky adults ;)

Thanks for your review! Microfighters are still around, actually. Keep your eyes peeled for our most recent ones: 75263 Resistance Y-Wing™ 75264 Kylo Ren's Shuttle™ 75265 T-16 Skyhopper™ vs. Bantha™ We recommend Microfighters sets for ages 6 and up. This set's designed for a younger audience (4 and up) who are just beginning to learn to build with LEGO® bricks.

Poor - the Force is weak in this one !!
I have to say that this has to be one of the most disappointing Star Wars Lego sets EVER made. Yes it looks good, BUT there are way too many large pieces. The cockpit and wings have three massive parts, that in any other set would probably consisted on about 40 plus pieces. I cannot help but feel that this set is aimed at the youngest of youngest builders that would not swallow and choke on a piece of lego. It is a shame as the design, size and look is amazing. The figures are great. It just looks like a lazy kids lego set that want the model almost pre-made for them. You will not be able to use the pieces for many of your own creative designs... and this is the reason I feel, personally, that Lego have let all of its fans down.

Overly easy, I expected something more complex and intricate from Lego. I understand that Star Wars is starting to gear towards a new audience, in an attempt to brighten it's future, but I just was looking for more.

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear this set wasn't the right fit. For stories with as wide appeal as Star Wars, we always like to have a little something for everyone in the theme. That means you'll find sets like this one - designed to be a perfect start for beginning builders ages 4 and up. And you'll also find Ultimate Collector's Series sets, which are some of our most complex builds aimed at ages 16 and up. While a lot goes in to determining a suggested age range, how challenging a build is will always be a major factor. If you're looking for more complicated sets, check out the recommended age range on the front of the box or listed in the product description. The higher the age range, the more intricate a set is more likely to be. And if you need a hand choosing just the right set for you, you can always get in touch with our brick experts at LEGO.com/Service. They'd be happy to help!
