I bought this set for my dauther, as she is getting into lego. She really enjoys the interactivity for this particular lego set. I also love how you can download the instructions on any form of device for it to become 3D and interactive. I would 💯 recommend thia for kids who are getting into lego or princess peach

Minifigures would be better
I'm glad that Peach finally joined LEGO Super Mario, but this theme still leaves a lot to be desired and LEGO should have just done traditional minifigures. The digital figures and course builder sets are flimsy and break apart far too easily. The digital gimmick wears off after about 30 seconds. Not great.

Great Set to play with
It is absolutely fun to build and play with. The interactive manual makes it super easy to build. Would 100 % recommend to a friend !

No paper instructions
I'm appalled that Lego would not include paper instructions for a beginning builder. Requiring 'digital' instructions prevents my child from building this on her own - lego building should be screen-free time. If this is the direction the company is going to go with future sets, then I'm out.

While the app is super fun, it's not required to use for most play. You can download PDF version of the instructions on our Customer Service page, and the app's other features are optional. You'll only need to occasionally connect Peach for updates!
A great addition to the Lego Mario crew
When I tell you that my Mario obsessed son was freaking out when he saw that Lego Princess Peach was getting released, I am not exaggerating. By helping around the house, saving his birthday money, begging from his grandparents, he finally had enough to be able to pay for it, and he was so excited. She is a great addition to the Lego Mario sets.
