Great Mario Set
I really enjoyed building this set with my daughter. I think it resembles the Mario aspect with the Lego touch. And, I just want to input any one who gave this a one star because of the instructions being digital. It says right on the back of the box that the only option for the instructions is digital. So I guess you just need to read the box. And I wouldn't give it less than 4.5 Stars.

Not ok
There were no instructions, only online. My internet is spotty so the excited kid I bought it for couldn’t build it. When I got it working I had to sign up and give personal information which I HATE doing. All for what was meant to be a non internet related toy. NOT COOL guys

No option to receive printed directions
We love buying our children Legos as a great way to cut down on screen time and keep them focused and busy when we need a moment. It was incredibly disappointing to open this box and discover there were no directions. You must download an app and hand your kid a tablet for them to complete this Lego. What a shame. Also makes it difficult to look back through the book easily to discover any missed steps. If Lego wants to leave out directions then they should put front and center in bold print on the box that directions are only available on an app.

No paper insttt egg uctions
This was a gift to cut down on ‘screen time’ but Lego decided to go cheap and not include paper instructions. Shame on Lego for assuming everyone has a tablet or computer. No where on the front of the box does it say this. And no instructions included should be front and center in bold on the page selling this item.

Love it!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely one coolest sets I’ve ever built. It is extremely detailed and has a lot of awesome features. The final build is very sturdy and can be easily moved. It is a one bag per number which makes it easier to find the pieces. The best thing about is that there are no stickers. All pieces are printed.

App Instructions are annoying
I really like the Mario theme and have managed a complete set. I was surprised by the play features that are not readily apparent from the description and the box. They are loads of fun discovering how Mario will react to each new set. The difficult part is the instructions which are on the app only. My children can't access the app without my help and the design of the Mario sets means they are meant to break apart and combine into something new. When my kids want to recreate a set, it is very difficult to get to the exact instructions they need and the precise section. It is a completely different experience for other themes, but for Mario, it is very difficult and the boys cry out in frustration. This is a bittersweet theme. It's lots of fun, but also frustrating at times. Dry Bone Bowser and his castle is a wonderful set. The boys love it, but tonight, the youngest was crying because it broke and he can't repair it. This prompted me to write this review.

Bowser lego
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Dry Bowser Castle Battle Expansion Set for my son, and he absolutely went crazy when I brought it into the house. He loves Mario, and the new movie and getting this Lego set was just so exciting for him. He is 8 and had a blast building it. He used his tablet for the instructions, and they were very easy to follow. It's awesome how they tie all the Mario Legos together. He was able to use his Mario Lego character with Bowser in this set, so that added more fun to it!
