A simple, charming set

This set is a great sea orientated theme with a nice colour palette. Works quite nicely alongside the retired ideas set 'Old Fishing Store'. Whilst all three are good, clever builds, I actually prefer the third build - the fishing café with pier. I used existing pieces leftover in an attempt to expand the pier. With more external parts from my collection this build could be modified to become something even more special.

Peaceful

The boat interior is not all that detailed, but there are a few features that stand out out. I also LOVE the crocodile, and how you can put the bird in it's mouth. The house boat is by far the best build, plane being second and the fish shop thingy (or whatever that is) third. The figures are very generic. In fact, in a different package, I received the same hair piece and plaid shirt that the dad is wearing on the same Christmas that I received this set. The girl's face is the most interest figure part, and it isn't very unique. But overall, this set was really fun to build, and I love how the houseboat looks.

Cute but....

The set is cute but the tiny windows are too high - the people can't see out, too many color schemes, one bed when there could've been bunks, a chair in the middle of the floor and on the floor for what reason? Not sure about the faucet/grill combo? Not a fan of the brick animals especially when other sets have a better alligator. This build definitely needs some modifications. Will see how the other two builds turn out.

Floats my Boat

I really enjoyed putting this together I’ve built the house boat and the sea plane I also sat with my nephew and the both of us put it together and took it apart to have more fun. I like the crocodile and the birds in this set highly recommended
