EARTH DRAGONS RULE

Great EVO build. Nice techniques, great colors and minifigures. I did convert the neck to full range of motion...it looks and functions great! More of these detailed, creative, creature builds at affordable prices, please!

Flawed but fine

The body is great but the legs are stubby and lack articulation. The head also is unable to move as well, though that is not as bad as the head. It’s nice to get Evo cole in a cheap set considering he came in the two most expensive sets last wave. The Bone Scorpio side build is surprisingly cute and a fun challenge for the dragon. Overall, this set is not bad, but there are many more sets within its price range that are better.

Rocky Boy!

Love this dragon's design the horns are a nice touch and love the bull-like stance. My only complaint is that the head is not on a ball joint so the head is fixed in place and not able to move. However I liked the design of the the dragon enough that I did fan art of him so.....yeah he's a pretty good dragon, all things considered.

Confusing articulation

From pictures, I thought this set looked pretty good, especially the unique pieces used in the head. But after an average build experience, the "completed" set just feels unfinished. The back legs can't move forward or back, only widen, but when you do that, it's feet are so stubby they can't flatten out. And the lack of head articulation is just inexcuseable, a large ball joint could easily replace the current axle connection without any damage to the look of the set. Overall, the only thing this set offers is a few unique parts that could be used to make your own, better dragon. If you want a playset, buy the Evo Water dragon, it's better in every way and almost half the price.

Looks good, Useful parts, Lacking Articulation

The color scheme is a little crazy but it's mostly cohesive. I like the cow-like shape of the dragon's head; he gives off a strong aura. His arms and legs have extremely limited articulation though which completely spoils the set in my opinion. I understand that less joints=more sturdy and good for play. But why did the only articulation points on the front legs have to be his wrists? And the back legs- they do not move forward and back at all, the just spread in and out. Very weird choice. The dragon's body is also way too long. And if I was younger and actually playing with it, I would find that the wings come off quite easily. This is a decent value though. The parts included are very useful, especially all the brackets and things. I also LOVE the design of the two figures. Great print quality.

Son loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave this to my son because he loves anything Nijago. He also has a dragon obsession, so this was ideal. He has now built it several times since he simply loves it. He finds it simple to construct as long as he adheres to the instructions, although it is a little challenging, which is beneficial for him. It does have a lot of pieces, so be careful to assist your child if they become discouraged or allow them to assemble it gradually. Although the age range is listed as 7 and up, I would recommend 9 and up.
