Selection being cut down
Its getting tougher to get specific minifigures in these series, not every collector wants an entire series and even if they do that feat is also becoming harder to accomplish. This is more disappointing as its a purposeful move and choice by Lego.

Least random distribution I've seen so far
Normally I love the collectible minifigure sets, but this one disappointed me. I ordered three 6-packs of minifigures. While I didn't get any duplicates out of a single box like some other reviewers had, ALL 3 BOXES had the Knight Girl, the Nutcracker, the Wolfman, the Reindeer Girl, and the Popcorn Guy. Two boxes had the Sugar Fairy in the final slot and the third had a Dragon Lady. Perhaps I just had extremely bad luck this time around, but 2 identical boxes and 1 that only differed by a single minifigure? This is why I prefer test-feeling the packages before buying them, but I haven't found them in my area in the 2+ months since the set released. I am extremely hesistant to ever order minifigures this way again, even if it means completely missing a series. Build Experience: They're minifigs. There isn't much "building" in the first place. Play Experience: A few of them have play value, but most are of the "display and look pretty" variety. Value For Money: Normally I consider collectible minifigs pretty good value, but not when I get 5 triplicates and a total of only 7 unique characters out of 18 opened. (Sidenote: Attempted to attach a picture but website returns an error every time I try)

Random?
We bought 2 boxes and all 6 mini-figures in both boxes were the same. I bought these because it is suppose to be random. This is not random, when 2 boxes are the same!

I was so lucky that I did not get any dups at all! I got all my favorite ones!
