It was good

The jet was excellent, and the build was easy, but when I was building the play feature, the string was broken but of all the set was very good!

The best set ever

Perfect!

Like most legacy sets, the new storm fighter, is much better than the original. Pros- The selection of minifigures is very good, the build is very sturdy and so can survive some cash landings, the part to price ratio is also very good. Cons- The only this that I disliked about this set, is like all of the other legacy sets for series one, it only includes Pythor or a venormari figure, not any fangpyre, hypnobri or constricti.

It breaks apart very easily. it tends to break under the right wind (looking from behind) and it is in an area where you have to take apart a good chunk of it in order to fix it. It gets annoying after a while and just really sucks to have to put such a good lego build on the shelf because it breaks so easily.

Legacy is Flying High

Jay's Storm Fighter is just a great build. It really is a great legacy set and takes the original set back from 2012 and just makes it so much better. The mechanism that moves the wings is both unique and has always worked without issue for me. Though not a lot of figures, they high quality and tasteful, and the addition of the Nunchucks is a great throwback to the early days of ninjago.

Excellent Redesign

The redesign is so much better with this set! I particularly enjoyed the new ninja outfits. A friend commented it has great swooshability. I wish it included hair pieces for Jay and Nya, this is an issue for many sets in this theme.

One of my all time favourites.

I really wanted the original Storm Fighter but then I saw how much it went for nowadays. Then I saw this absolute beauty of a set, it looks so good! The play feature works really well, it has room for Jay and if you tilt the seat forwards a bit you can fit in the nunchucks of lightning too. The price for this, I'd say is brilliant, the serpentine figures look great, I'm not really a fan of the new Legacy suits but it's fine. The blade opening function works really well and the blades were a good choice too. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend or someone wanting to get into NINJAGO because it's such a near perfect set, the only issue I have with it is the little fins near the cockpit do interrupt the mechanism's closing and they can fall off easily. As well as the back fins, they break off a bit easy too, just very minor annoyances. Overall, I'd give this a 10/10 for value, looks, play features and mini figures, I've had this over a year now and it looks and works as great as when I bought it. I LOVE THIS SET!

I love this set!

I love this set because I love how the wings open to reveal swords. It came with two serpentine and two ninjas. It came in the mail very fast and arrived within a few days.
