Pretty good for what it is

Its a very good, fun set. It, in my opinion, does have a few empty areas that could have been better. Otherwise, great minifigures, great build experience. Good set

Not well designed

It pains me to be critical of a HP Lego set but the designers really didn’t think this one through. (I have dozens of HP Lego sets.) Having a trap door is excellent but you can’t put the devil’s snare chamber underneath it because there’s nothing else to support the structure. I assembled a room using my own bricks and it works now. Fluffy doesn’t fit in the trap door room. The instructions were difficult to discern because they had a lot of dark brown pieces that I couldn’t distinguish in the illustrations. The harp is a clever idea that doesn’t come together. I’m glad to see that people generally like this. I just think it was a swing and a miss.

Easy, fun add-on set

Really fun and fast build. Love the mini-figs, especially the 20th-anniversary gold Hermione and Fluffy is downright adorable! It will display nicely with the other sets once I figure out the right configuration to add it all together. I'd add a photo but for some reason, it won't allow me to upload one.

Great Piece

So much fun to build and display. I have a whole Harry Potter room and it made a great addition. I added this into the chamber of secrets set
