Viking Long Ship

This product is a perfect compliment for the new Viking Village. It was a gift for my nephew, and he loved it. I also purchased the Viking Village and he was thrilled to receive both sets. Lego needs to offer more Viking sets, as they go so well with the other Medieval Knights and Castle sets.

Vikings!

This is such a fun, versatile set. I had so much fun building this with my 6 yo son. The Viking ship is so cool that it will be sad to disassemble it to build the other options. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d consider buying 2 more sets my boys can play with all 3 options at the same time. I’d love to see this set made available with minor variations, like sail color and boat details so we could build a Viking fleet! My 5 yo son has been playing with the mini figures all week. They’re at an age where Lego is the perfect toy for them and I’m having a blast playing with them.

Good but should've been excellent

My biggest disappointment with this product is in the very first bag of Lego bricks, I was missing 2 parts! I've built Legos for over 10 years and can't remember when I built a set missing even 1 part, let alone 2! I am shocked and disappointed I have to wait at least a week for my replacement parts to come in the mail so I can finish this set. Other than that, the Viking Ship and Midgard Serpent build is great and a lot of fun. The color palette and style of the build really fit the Lego theme and is sturdy. I would recommend this product but be wary of the missing parts problem as it appears other reviewers experienced similar issues.

Female Viking figures!

Really glad the set includes variety of Vikings!, I got this for my neice. I think it’s a bit overpriced tbh, but it’s def a fun set and it was a special gift. I hope Lego continues to include balanced variety of figures in their sets. When I was a kid that wasn’t the case, the only female would maybe be a princess or there was just none at all. I recommend this set!

Fantastic set good fun to build

I have been building lego for 30 years and this set has some of the best SNOT building techniques I have seen. The sail is also a great technique and looks fantastic plus the set has Vikings! I really enjoyed building it so much so I got a second set so I can have 2 ships in my medieval scenes.
