So much Advent Fun! A surprise everyday!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely loved doing this Advent Calendar during the holiday season. It was easy to use each day and always gave us a great surprise as we worked through the views. I love that it was a non - food option and the LEGOs were a great addition to my son’s collection.

No Effort

I have been purchasing Lego Advent Calendars for years. This one is by far the worst one I have ever purchased for my kids. No effort was put into designing this Calendar. I really wish Lego would take the time to design a nice advent calendar. I would rather have a couple really good ones than 6 poor ones. I hope that Lego goes back and tries next year. If I were you, I would be ashamed of this.

A singular rabbit on day 15 left my child very disappointed and upset. Her brothers were getting all these really cool Lego Star Wars builds and she felt like it was very unfair. This toy is a rip off for the price compared to the other advent sets. There was next to no building. Also having one day as a baby and the next as its stroller was stupid. 1/10 would never have bought it if I had known it would disappoint my kid so much.

Disappointed

We are annual purchasers of the Lego city advent calendar - probably our 5th year and my son is an avid builder. To say he’s been disappointed by this calendar is an understatement. There have been multiple days of no building - a bunny for one of the days, really? Then we get to day 23 and what does he pull out - another nutcracker - the same exact one from day 22. Not cool LEGO. After a 5 year run of these calendars this will likely be our last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LEGO City 2024 Advent Calendar This lego set is designed for ages 5 and up, which is perfect for my 6 and 8 years old. They are having a good time playing with it. It is unisex, my daughter and son are busy playing this little set. I opened the box and it was full of little packages in dividers. My kids are excited to open some daily. The quality of the lego is great and easy to assemble. This is super adorable! Highly recommended for Lego fans!

Subpar this year

We have been buying the Lego advent calendar for 7+ years and have loved them in the past. This year one child picked Star Wars and the other picked City. SW has been great, but City this year has had most days without a build. Some days it’s an animal without any building. Other days it’s a mini fig that builds in three pieces. My son is frustrated that the majority of the days have been non build days, and honestly it’s not worth the price this year. I will never choose City again because of this- it’s like they renamed the advent Friends to be city.
