An effective game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent activity to introduce and engage toddlers to pattern formation and addition during role play. A big hit with my grandson

Super cute!

I am a kindergarten teacher and got this for them to practice math skills in the classroom. I have not used it with them yet but I am sure they will love it. So far my only complaint about it is the storage container is slightly small for all of the pieces to fit inside. I wish the container were bigger to make it easier for them to clean it up on their own. I had a difficult time myself getting them all to fit in so I know they will need my help.

Unique math learning set!

We love this set! I got this game for free to post about it elsewhere online, but enjoyed it so much I wanted to review it here too. It came on Christmas Eve, so I put it in with my 5 year old's other Christmas morning toys, but didn't really expect him to be too into it. However he not only liked it, he played with it more than anything else he got for Christmas! The pieces are pretty small, so I would definitely consider it a PK-2 math manipulative more than a toddler to and would recommend it be used with adult supervision only for anyone who still puts toys in their mouths. for a preschooler though, it is a wonderful math learning tool and the size makes it a great fine motor tool as well! I love that my son can work on scooping, stacking, and balancing while he is also doing sorting, counting, and pattern matching, and I think it will be great for simple addition and subtraction as well when he is ready for that. If you are looking for large play food for a toddler, this is not going to be a good fit for you. But if you are looking for a colorful and unique learning game for preschoolers through 2nd graders, I definitely recommend this set.

This set is really great and attention grabbing!

Since I have a second grader, we've been starting to work on math more and more latley. Unfortunatley, he loses the ability to pay attention to what I'm working on with him pretty quickly so it's been a struggle to get him to be able to sit down and listen when we are working on it at home together. When I was given this product free in exchange for my review, I was extremely excited to try it with him! It definitely did the trick! The scoops and cups are such vibrant and bright colors and I love the ice cream container they come with! They are just too cute and he loved "counting" the scoops as he put them in the box! While it says ages 3 and up, I think it's a bit advanced for my 3 year old, although he DID enjoy playing with it on his own and making ice cream for everyone! It's also nice that the cards and activities are by level so I can use harder ones as he picks up on it more! I definitely reccomend this product but give it 4 stars since it's too advanced for a 3 year old. I'd say it's for closer to age 5 and up.

Best Math Game Set!

I love this math set!! My kids love it especially since it looks like ice cream. They play and at the same time learn. A great game that is educational but also very fun to play and teach math all at the same time. The greatest thing, is not only do I use it to teach the kids but I also use it to play fake eating ice cream also. They laugh and learn which is great for kids.
