Received broken

Unfortunately it was a Christmas gift and received it broken. This was bought on black Friday and apparently there weren't any left for a replacement. I have yet to receive my refund even though it's been returned to the store.

Macy's doesn't stand behind it's products

I splurged on buying this pot for a gift for my son and was excited to find it on sale at Macy's. Unfortunately, when the pot arrived it was broken in several spots. The original box was also torn apart which made it seem like it was a returned/abused item before it was even added haphazardly to the shipping box without any packaging around it to protect it. To make this worse, when I called Macy's to ask them to send a replacement they said it was out of stock. I looked at their website while on the phone with them and they appeared to have tons of them in stock. The customer service person said they couldn't provide a replacement from the other stock because it had a different web ID#. SERIOUSLY?! I had to buy the gift from another retailer at a $100 more to replace it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Gorgeous and Functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been eyeing a Le Creuset Dutch oven for years now and finally took the plunge. SO happy I did! The 7.25 quart size will be great for stews, soups, desserts — the apple tart filling I just made in it turned out divine. The meringue color is natural and beautiful. These are on the pricey side but honestly worth every penny if you have a passion for cooking.
