Good Material with Odd Cut

This is a lovely winter/fall dress based on the thick ponte fabric. The dress is a fit-and-flare cut with a LOT of flare and extra fabric on the lower half. I have an hour-glass figure and there is too much fabric in the stomach area of this dress. There is so much fabric in the stomach area that I look pregnant (I'm not) from a side-view. Such a shame, because the fabric is beautiful and the color is a great staple for my winter closet! I think this dress would be great for an apple shaped figure.

Elegant and versatile dress!

What a simple and yet elegant dress. Very flattering cut & drape. The fabric and lining are a heavier ponte knit so I probably won’t wear it during the summer heat in Florida. This dress will be a versatile addition to my wardrobe because the cream color and simple lines provide a “blank canvas” for jackets, scarves, and jewelry. I’m sure I will be wearing this dress for years to come.
