Odd construction choice

Nice medium-lightweight hand on the fabric, and the skirt lies smoothly over the hips, due to the side zipper and contoured waistband. The side seams, however, are bound selvage, and tend to stand away from the body and not swing easily, as that construction method makes them stiffer than the fabric warrants. I’ve worked on them with a steamer to try to get them to fall more softly, as shown in the website photo. It’s a shame, as this could be a great skirt. As is, it’s a stiff A-line, not a draping skirt as illustrated.

Great Skirt

Great color for the Fall (yes, I've started my Fall Season shopping already). It's a little pricy, but I was afraid of missing out on my size. The fit is perfect. I ordered my normal size 16. Looking for that Navy Blue, already purchased the Navy Blue pant in the same material.
