Pretty and Warm but poorly constructed

I was so excited about a the purchase of the Ralph Lauren coat as I expected the garment to be a well put-together piece; however, it was not. For such an expensive coat, with the zipper on the coat was so cheaply made and constructed. I feel like if it makes it through next winter, it will be a miracle. When I make purchases from designer brands, I expect a well constructed garment that looks the part. Next time, I will purchase a brand with quality that matches the name. It is a pretty coat though.

Unhappy Purchase

I was happy when I was able to order this coat in my size after having seen it at the store. The coat was delivered in a reasonable time. I was happy with the size and feel. I wore it 2 times. On the 2nd time the front snap broke completely off. I brought it back to the store and asked for a refund because it was defective and I did not want to take the risk of ordering another one. The salesperson told me it was not returnable because I wore the coat. I insisted and I was pretty upset. She then conferred with other salespeople and finally and grudgingly accepted the return. I expected more from this manufacturer. How could they use such a poor fastening system on their merchandise. Also, I was unhappy with Macy's customer management. I was unhappy with this purchase.

Very poor quality. Zipper broke. Snaps fell off.

Beautiful Coat!!
