Runs real big

Great coat. Really nice lining in the back towards the bottom. It does run really big. I'm 6'4" about 190lbs. A 42L usually fits me perfect. I had to get this one in a 40R. Go down in size, It'll fit a lot better.

Well-tailored and attractive peacoat

This coat is moderately tapered for a well-tailored silhouette and size 42R was a perfect fit. The gray-black plaid pattern differentiates this garment from a traditional navy or black peacoat and there are attractive details provided by the collar and pockets. The material and quality are as expected from a Ralph Lauren garment. The discounted seasonal sales price was just another plus. But, it pays to compare the advertised selling price on the web with the in-store sales price.
