- Use this versatile formula to precisely line, define and fill or smudge, smoke and blend
- Lash Line: Apply along the upper lash line; hold the pencil horizontally, keeping the long side of the tip flat against the lid, which makes it easy to see where the line is being placed; apply in short strokes to keep the application close to the lashes
- Tight Line: Press softly on the eyelid and lift gently back into the eye crease, which will clearly reveal bottom of the lash line; apply in between lashes using a dot and wiggle motion, which creates the look of lush, thick lashes
- Water Line: Apply directly to lower and/or upper water line; for a softer look, line only the upper water line; for maximum definition, line both the upper and lower water lines

Pencil great until it's time to expose more product

The tightline pencil does not come with any instructions how to reveal/expose more product. It has a plastic-like collar that would appear not appropriate for a makeup sharpener. The product page description does not explain that a special tool is needed to sharpen it. The client care team read from a script and did not seem to know how to convey instructions to me (it was obvious that she had not used the product). A makeup artist (thank you Sarah) via Chat explained how it works. 3 stars for Client Care experience and special sharpening tool that was not sold with the pencil. Otherwise, the product glides on nicely.
