A sheer to medium foundation that gives skin a lit from within glow. A mosaic of nature's most luminous natural ingredients gives skin a candlelit glow at any time of day or night. A calibrated blend of radiant pearl mica, embedded in an ultra-lightweight formula, mimics the reflective glow of just lit candles. This mica mélange mingles with refreshing purified water to give skin a burst of hydration and help foundation glide onto skin for lasting smoothness and natural luminosity. A luxurious blend of lightweight oils locks in this moisture to leave skin balanced, soft and beautifully ignited.

  • Product Features

    • Available in 24 shades, colour stays true without the formula settling into fine lines, wrinkles or pores.
    • Apply to clean skin with Laura's foundation sponge or with fingertips. For best results, use with your preferred Laura Mercier Foundation Primer.
    • Detailed Application Technique:
    • Place a small amount of foundation on the back of your hand and pickup formula with the narrow end of a dampened Laura™ Foundation Sponge. Using the narrow end of the sponge, apply foundation to the face working on one area at a time.
    • Laura recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inwards towards the nose. Avoid excess application around the contours of the face.
    • Blend well with the wide end of the sponge. Repeat application until desired coverage is achieved.
    • Sheer to medium buildable coverage
    • For light coverage, apply a thin layer. Apply a second layer for more light to medium coverage. For spot coverage, apply foundation and spot conceal using Secret Camouflage on the face or Secret Concealer for under eye
    • Appropriate for all skin types and especially well-suited for normal to dry skin
    • Non Comedogenic

The perfect base, particularly with sensitive sk!

When seeking a new base, it was a task. I use to wear (not sell) BeautyControl yet why they though their partnership with Tupperware would have worked . . ??? I have very sensitive skin, history of breakouts, and wanting my skin to have a dewy flawless finish, this is definitely a great base. I dare say it is the best replacement I found to BeautyControl, and that's saying something!

Soft finish, semi sheer foundation

I tried the more matte, full coverage foundation from Laura Mercier but it seemed thick and was hard to before drying. This foundation gives a soft, semi sheer coverage and sets well with finish powder. Will definitely purchase again.

Good foundation

This goes on smooth and even; has a nice texture and coverage. It is fairly sheer, but definitely evens out my skin tone. It is not greasy at all - is more like a powder once it's set.

So Oily!

I have never had oily skin until using this product. A few hours after applying my face is so shiny and greasy. It's going back.

Natural looking

I like how natural this looks and feels. It’s not too heavy. Gives just enough coverage to cover discolorations in my skin.

It does have a candle glow

Was looking for a foundation that's not heavy but can give me some coverage. So far this has been working for me....can apply more for more coverage. And it does seem to give a nice glow.

nice foundation

I have used Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer (in Cameo) for many years, and was looking for a similar color foundation. Because Laura Mercier's foundations and tinted moisturizers use the same colors, I know that my 1C1 tinted moisturizer is the same color as my 1C1 foundation. Pricy, but you need only a drop or two.
