Highly satisfied

My jacket arrived minutes before a torrential downpour, so naturally I put it on and went out and stood in the rain! The water just rolled right off of it! It’s not an incredibly warm jacket, but there’s plenty of room to add layers underneath.

Disappointing! No two way zipper.

Disappointing! I looked long and hard for an attractive and functional raincoat. Yet this raincoat disappointed me greatly. It is not very attractive, but looks kind of like a bag until the ties are adjusted. It has no wrist adjustments nor a double zipper, which is a must in a longer jacket. I thought I could just use the snaps for the many times a double zipper is needed. However, the positioning of the snaps is such that it does not snap at the waistline where the drawstrings are, but just above and below the actual waist. Hence there is an awkward gap at the waist. Worse I did not find it fully waterproof. I will be returning it.

Disappointed and CONFUSED

I’m only 5’6” so not overly tall, and the sleeves are way too short - they stop mid-forearm when down at my sides! I’m surprised no other reviews mentioned this. Also, the hood is very shallow so if it’s rainy I’ll need to constantly try to hold it out over my face as best as I can to stay dry. We’re going to a rainy location so both of these features really are important. I loved the fabric though so I’m really disappointed. It also doesn’t have many pockets.

Pretty jacket. Sizing does not work for me.

I ordered my suggested size, Large. It was way too big and I saw it was a 14-16. I am a size 12 leaning toward 14. So a tried the Medium. It looks nice but is too tight across the bust area (I'm not that busty). So I am returning both. The lilac color is very pretty and the coat looks nice on. The sleeves are elastic and not adjustable which I think would not do well in heavy rain. I cannot speak to the water resistance since I am not keeping.

Not for exercise

Definitely NOT breathable. I regularly walk 4 miles, not terribly fast, but every time I wear this coat I my arms and the inside of the sleeves are soaked by the time I finish. In 50-ish degree weather. Great for non-exercise outings though, and lovely pale green color.
