Nice lightweight vest

Lands End tends to run big on me ( 5’9”; 140 lbs) but I often wear M. This M was too big and boxy. S was perfect: close fitting, lightweight. Nice zip pockets and soft collar. The navy vest is a good color with nice light blue inside. I can wear this any season ( not really for a lot of warmth in winter ). A little pricey if not on sale (reason for 4 stars).

Great everyday vest!

I have now bought the 2 colors offered & wish there were more colors to choose. The vest drapes beautifully & has a 2 way zipper that is a great feature. The pockets have a zipper which keeps things in securely. So glad I ordered the vests!

Vest has inside drop-in pockets

After considering this vest, I took the plunge and ordered the navy. Note this vest has large drop-in pockets on the inside in back of the zipper hand-warmer pockets. I am very happy with my purchase. The vest has a loose, rather boxy fit but looks great over a denim shirt or lightweight fleece jacket. The shoulders are not excessively wide at the top and lightweight bonded fabric would easily fit under another coat. The vest is very lightweight and would easily fit in a daypack. Perfect for dog walking or errands, I could also see sneaking this under a dress coat on a cold, windy day.

Just What I was Looking For

Love this vest! Perfect for keeping my core warm without bulk. Am so glad LE added a double zipper for easy access to trouser pockets. Would have given 5 starts if LE had included an interior chest pocket for my cell phone!

I Need More Vests Like This One

The vast majority of my vests are thick and bulky, designed for maximum warmth. But that's not always what I need. This one can provide a little extra insulation under a winter shell while Nordic skiing, or keep me warm at the beginning of an early morning September hike. It is not fitted - rather boxy actually - but that's OK because it perfectly conceals my expanded waistline. Note that it DOES have interior pockets. Someone asked about that in this review section and was mislead by the answer. That's a great feature, since we all carry a cell phone, and most women's clothes have so few large, secure pockets.
