His favorite shirt.

My husband LOVES this shirt. It's one of his favorites. The weight is perfect for this time of year and should be good for spring and fall, too. Colors are great and washes well. I'm continuing to look for more shirts like it.

Great except for the collar

I love this rugby shirt, EXCEPT the collar. I strongly dislike the white collar - the color and also the fabric, which is stiff and rough compared to the knit body of the shirt. The white color is hard to keep looking clean, and I feel like a white collar on a rugby shirt makes me look like a tool, to be honest. I would really prefer that they make the collar out of the same material and color of the rest of the shirt! That would be soooo comfy, because the body material is super soft. Anyway, I do continue to wear the shirt, because it fits well for someone like me with a wider torso/belly, it's good quality overall, the fabric is thick and soft, and I love the look (except for the white collar).

Great, Except for the Long and Tall Collar

I was excited to see and order an original classic rugby shirt. My excitement went away right after trying it on and finding the collar is rugby styled, but far too long and too tall. It looks rather ridiculous this way, when you know what a true rugby shirt collar looks like. I never wore it in public and sent it back. Close, Lands End, but details matter when trying to revive a classic garment style.

Disappointing

Significant shrinkage after only 3-4 washes in warm water. Won't buy this shirt again.
