Can't wear belt
There are only three belt loops on these shorts and a belt does not comfortably stay put without side loops. Although the shorts will probably stay up on their own because of the elastic, our uniform requires a belt, rendering these shorts unwearable.

Needs more belt loops!
Great quality. Wish short had more belt loops, only one in the back so belts do not sit flat on shorts. Could use two more loops back there!

These run large and my son complains about how uncomfortable they are. He is an average size 6 year old who where's size 5/6 normally...the 4/5 I bought him are still too big and he hates the waist.

Too large & no inside button adjustment for waist
These were gigantic and did not have any way to adjust the waist inside the pants. They also seemed very thin and not very durable.

Wrinkles!
This material wrinkles a lot... I purchased this style for my kids school uniform since he struggles with buttons. He doesn't like the adaptive style because he said the other kids can hear the Velcro. I have to take the shorts to the dry cleaners for them to press the shorts to get the shorts to look decent to be able to wear to school. When I iron the shorts myself, I cannot get the wrinkles out. I hope Lands End can find an alternative material that wrinkles less, but allows still to have the pull up option with a button for kids that need this alternative.

Sizing is wrong, not a replacement for uniform
My little one isn't confident buttoning and zipping his school uniform shorts from Lands End, so I ordered these in the hope that they would be indistinguishable from his peers. These are humongous on him. They are also much thinner than the uniform shorts. I will have to keep looking at different brands to try to find a good "dupe." Sadly can't recommend these.

Runs very large
I bought the size 3/4- boys tan elastic waist shorts. They are huge. He is Normal size 4. So waist of money. He will have to gain min 5-7 lbs to wear

I bought this for my granddaughter for her school the waist is fine but her legs were swimming. Way to wide in the legs
