Works great at making coffee. Otherwise, who testing it and thought it was designed well? Nearly impossible to pour water into the 1 inch opening. Pouring 12 cups of water into it takes skill. The blue light is way too bright and completely unneeded - it has to be unplugged when not in use as it lights up the kitchen, which negates the programming feature.

Great coffee, pretty but flawed machine
Loved my old Krups coffeemaker and gave it away because it still worked great after ten years. This one has been used twice a week for two years. It now makes more steam than coffee and beeps a lot as it keeps turning itself on and off. The coffee is good but it was a big price to pay for such short a lifespan.

Returned a dysfunctional coffee maker after a year
I bought this early November 2015, it stopped working early December 2016. In the twelve months I had this coffee maker, I did not use it for three of the twelve months. Stopped working, I descaled, unplugged, did every trouble shooting possible. It would brew a few drops, beep to indicate coffee was ready. Love this coffee maker, KM 730. The company told me to return, but thus far, it has taken a turn around of two weeks to get a response, printed return label via email. Then said it could take several weeks at the repair shop. I am using an old Krups from the 80's and glad I kept it. Have had a Krups Coffee Maker since the early 80's and would hate to switch to Keurig as most of my friends have.

Very disappointed!
I bought this coffeemaker to replace the Krups coffeemaker that I'd had for over 10 years. Now it's less than 1 year and this coffeemaker stopped working. It will not brew a full brew, it stops part way and beeps as if it's done, then may or may not continue to brew. I was trying to make 6 cups and it only made 4 cups.

plastic junk at stiff price

Works great, broke just B4 2yr warranty, and Krups fixed it!
I had to have it repaired, but it had a 2 year warranty. Others have 1 or less. Contacted Krups, they gave me address to have it repaired free of charge, and we got it back in the mail in short order! It's been a year since that repair, and no probs at all since. Yes I would buy Krups products again!

stopped working
i had mine for 3 months and it started to stop brewing in middle of brewing a pot of coffee now it don't run all the water thru a brewing cycle leaves about 2 cups of water in machine and makes only 10 cups of coffee not happy with it for what I paid for it

Faulty.
Stopped working after about a year. Refuses to brew even though it beeps as if brew has been completed. I like the looks of it, but hate the performance. Off to the recycling center it goes!
