Excellent Beanie Book
This is the best knitting book for beanies that I have ever seen and bought. It is definitely going to become a collector's book and increase in value. I also like that 62 patterns out of 63 patterns are made of worsted yarn, #4 and only 1 pattern is DK. Also, some people think that you can only use wool, but that is not true. She tells you that you can use acrylic too. However, you cannot use cotton yarn because it does not hold its shape. I am presently making the "Theodore Roosevelt North Dakota" beanie, and I am making it out of worsted, #4, acrylic. It is turning out to be very beautiful. Nancy Bates is truly an artist. I hope she does more books.
