I saw one bad review before buying this rug. We have had it for a few months now and love it more every day. The soft pile is almost one inch high, and we have a great spongy pad underneath it so that it makes it much more tolerable sitting on our wood floors over a slab. You will need to check that your vacuum can handle a high pile rug. Highly recommend what I call the design soft modern, not too wild.

Not Practical - Shag Matted After 1 Year
This rug was beautiful and so soft at first. We got a lot of compliments. One year later, it looks horrible. We have it under our living room furniture and it’s matted and gross. It’s impossible to keep the shag looking good. Not a good option for a high-traffic living room with kids. The colors are absolutely perfect…just wish it was more durable. Quite an investment to throw out after one year.

Soft but poor quality
The price is good and the thickness/softness is great, but the quality is lower than I expected. See photo, a few places in the rug there is some bare straw-like threads coming through, which feel scratchy when walked on with bare feet.

Perfect Choice
Great rug at a great price! It's so soft. We bought two. One for the living room area and one for the dining room area of our new open concept home. It helps define the two areas yet helps them blend together. Glad we were able to buy them when they were on sale.

This is a very nice rug and cheaper than the rug I bought from crate and barrel. Surprised by the quality and color. Very pretty and soft and thick would def recommend. Wish i could upload a photo of it.
