Securing the lid a problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used it twice before I managed to break it. The processor itself works fine, but the lid is the problem. I was used to a mini chopper, where I turned and clicked the lid into place, then turned to release it and lift it off. I found this lid difficult to seat onto the bowl. After last using it, I unlocked the lid, opened it and tipped the contents out. When I did that, the back of the lid unseated from the bowl, fell on the floor and broke in pieces. The KitchenAid website doesn't have a replacement lid for my model. Not best pleased.

happy with it so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this since my 2 cup processor was just too small to do much. Debated getting larger than this 9 cup, but decided to try this. Works great so far. Made falafel (although I did make it in two batches). And then made some veggie eggrolls. I was happy to find that a whole, large cabbage plus carrots could be shredded in one pass.

kitchenaid 9 cup food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this pr christmas 9firstly i was gutted that my original broke and could not be fixed especially as not use alot...however the new one is amazing and so quick and quiet...so out of something sad came an amazing upgrade...i would have preferred white but in new zealand that is not available....but love love love ( opnly thin is it would be great if it had storage cvontainer for the pieces so you dont havde to keep storing in machine
