Could never get it to work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this as a Christmas gift back in 2020, but we did not have space for it, so it sat for quite some time. We finally moved beginning of this year to a larger space and we were excited to use all our boxed up appliances. Unfortunately we could not get this to work at all! I tried all the trouble shooting tips to no avail. Even the person who purchased it for us (and has experience using them) could not get it to work. I called KitchenAid and they said because of the time frame, there was nothing they could do. Definitely disappointed and will think twice about purchasing another KitchenAid product in the future.

Obscenely complex and cumbersome

Yes. It will spin a blade and mince whatever you want. It’s a simple task for any machine with an electric motor to accomplish. Any cheap device will do this job. This particular food processor has a ridiculous number of parts - especially in the lid - that make its operation a royal pain in the neck. Not surprisingly, cleaning all of these parts takes longer. As a result, you will be less likely to use this food processor except for situations where you absolutely need it. Furthermore, the accessory bowl that fits inside the larger one makes closing the lid very difficult. And unless the lid is closed completely (and all of the insertions fully seated), the thing won’t run. A food processor should be a simple device that adds convenience overall to your cooking. This one adds work.

14 Cup Processor

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought my processor a few ago and absolutely love it - I am so glad I got the 14 Cup one for When I make my pie dough I can make a double batch and in the fall when I am making my salsa I can dice up my veggies in no time - I am still learning all the things I can do with it but am having fun while I try using the different attachments

Works great

I bought the 14 cup food processor almost a year ago and it's still working well. My son has severe cerebral palsey and while he can eat by mouth, he needs his food pureed. It allows me to pureed but leaves some texture to the food that my son can enjoy, but still safely eat. I've used kitchenaid food processors for years so this was just going to a bigger one. I honestly mostly use the smaller bowl (absolutely love the smaller bowl within the bigger one), but that too is bigger than the previous one I had. I do still have the old one in case I ever need it.
