Returned - no refund, can’t reach customer service

Beware that if you return something and it was technically sent by a supplier, not directly from Macys: Macys will NOT help you recover the refund, even though you bought the item from Macys. They’ll give you an email (never answered) and phone hotline (not connected) for the supplier and make you shout into the void yourself. I returned this shirt 4 months ago and essentially flushed my cash and item down the toilet by doing so. How is this legal??
