Why are my sneakers clicking?

I bought the classic white champion canvas lace up sneaker about a month ago. They fit great however they began clicking when I walked. Don’t know if it’s the finish on the material the sneaker is made of but it is quite embarrassing to be walking and making so much noise with my shoes, particularly in a quiet place like a movie theater or church. How can I solve this problem. This is so frustrating and disappointing.

True to size.

I had a very old pair of the champion original which was an 8 Slim. Probably have had them for over 25 years. I wanted to replace them so took a chance and ordered an 8 Slim. Perfect fit.

Narrow shoes

I have narrow feet and have an extremely hard time finding shoes that fit my feet, especially on my Social Security income! These "slim" Keds fit my feet and I'm so thankful. Too wide shoes can cause tripping and falling, which can be dangerous at my age.
