Beautiful shoes, but not ideal for toddler feet

We were SO excited for these shoes to arrive, as we have bought these in every size for my little girl since she was born. The Mary Jane style was our favorite, but after they were discontinued, we went to these. While these shoes are beautiful and well made, there is a major design flaw- they are MUCH too narrow, especially when considering most toddlers have pudgy feet. That being said, my little lady is quite petite and does not have wide or pushy feet, but these don’t even go on. The Mary Jane style must have simply been designed for a wider foot base? The lace ups just sit as decorations in my little girls room now. Really disappointed and I know it’s just me, because I’ve given them as gifts and have heard the same feedback.
