Very pretty but not good as mousepad

The mouse does not glide very well, a sheet of paper worked better then this. I’m talking about the gold dots one.

Mouse Doesn't Work On It

I purchased the gold dot mouse pad and it's pretty and well made. but the mouse does not move right on it. It does move around on the pad itself, but it doesn't respond properly due to the reflective areas of the dots. I cannot use it as a mouse pad.

Doesn’t work, tried to run run the mouse across but the material does it glide smoothly.
