exceeds expectations!

a 5-star rating is a given, considering that i am a Kate Spade black-and-white-stripe collector. BUT...in addition...these plates are sturdy and thick; i have never seen melamine like this. they come through the washing machine without neither streaks nor blotches. a classic and simple design, they dress up my dining room table with nothing else. AND, Macys offered them at a discounted rate! i started with 4 and, after the first use, bought another 8. i even rearranged my existing plates because these plates take up more room than my Corelle; i wanted to be able to access them regularly. a great buy!
