I love Kate Spade products and was excited to purchase these for Christmas. I loved them instantly but as others mentioned, there was a strong odor. I washed them in gentle cycle per instructions and they came out awful. The color faded drastically and now it looks like these are super old, used and passed down through decades as opposed to only having them for two days. Can’t return them and now I have 12 placemats that are of no use to me. So bummed.

Amazing quality

Nice, but have a strong scent

Cheap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells bad and cheaply made. Tried to separate the mats but they were stuck together, as if the glue melted. Looks like gift wrapping paper as well.
