Macy’s was Once an Icon…

Macy’s used to be a wonderful company with great customer service, clean stores, plentiful inventory, and employees who enjoyed working for this iconic company. Unfortunately, Macy’s has become irrelevant and like so many other former retail giants they will become extinct in the near future. They have forgotten their purpose and have lost touch with the customers that made this company great. I purchased three items for gifts, two sweaters and one pair of earrings. Three items split into three shipments. Two shipments were sent and the final item was never sent. Four or five phone calls, two discussions with supervisors, several promises that were not kept and one sweater that was never shipped and now apparently can no longer be shipped. I am not upset about the sweater. I am upset because along the way since November, Macys never once reached out to me and ever effort to discover what was going on with my order was initiated by me. Macy’s failed in very way.
