Purchased 2 of these because of a huge savings sale. Was going to use one on each level of the house. Only opened one to see how well a job it would do. Put it on the charging station so that I could charge and downloaded the app. Every time I open the app it would immediately crash after about the fifth time I did as the app suggested as it stayed open long enough to tell me to clear the cache and fully close the app. I even restarted my phone. After the second round of multiple crashes, clearing the cache and fully shutting the app down I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Same result. I also made sure there were no updates to the app needed, there shouldn't have been and were not. I did this cycle for a total of 3 installs of the app. I emailed using the email in the play store outlining steps I've already taken, auto-reply that the address goes to someone that doesn't work there anymore and gives a valid email address. The reply from the valid address tells me to uninstall and reinstall the app as I may not have the latest version. 4th time installing is a charm, it "worked" this time. We shall see how long it continues to work. It lasted about an hour. 1 last uninstall and reinstall. So far the app has worked for about 5 days. The vacuum itself cleans maybe 50% of the room/area it starts in and either gets lost, thinks it's finished and returns to charging base, and/or goes over the same strip repeatedly. And those edge brushes fall off EVERY time. I have it on the highest suction setting, if I don't it barely picks anything up. After running for an hour it attempts to go back to the charging base. Sometimes it makes it, sometimes it just stops before it gets there, and sometimes it just gets lost. Back to the app, it doesn't save any of the settings I set. If I change the suction power, as soon as I leave that screen it reverts to the default setting. It will only do some of the changes if I make them after it has started. I'm hoping I can return both units where I purchased them.

I am seriously wondering where these 5 star reviews are coming from. This product is garbage and worked poorly from the start, stopped working completely after a few weeks and now I can’t return it. Don’t be fooled like me. Save your money and buy another brand.

Don’t waste your money
This vacuum sucks. Or does not suck. It worked okay for a week or two, other than the fact it got caught on anything and everything and I had to follow it around and put it back on course. After a few weeks, one side started lifting up as it moved so it stopped actually picking up any debris. The app was nice but it showed the vacuum followed the same exact course in a small area of my already small living space, ignoring a complete other side of the room. I had a eufy before and it lasted 3 years before the battery died. I will toss this in the trash and get another eufy.

DO NOT BUY
Cleans well but after three uses it stopped running and said there was a MOTOR OBSTRUCTION; please check. No way to check. Does not tell how in the manual. Customer service/tech support will not answer. Even called JUST ANSWER and their people could not figure it out. Took in back to Macy’s before 30 days were up.
Doesn’t connect to WiFi anymore. It just keeps turning off. Do not purchase this product.

The problem is the app, it is completely bugged and broken so it crashes before you can connect to the vacuum. There is a reason that this is 300$ off and it is because they know their product is unusable and they are trying to recoup their losses instead of actually trying to fix their worthless app. Total scam
