Very spotted - I had to wash it before I gave it as a gift disappointing

You can have your cake and eat it too

The cake dome arrived well packaged and survived UPS throwing it over the gate instead of bringing it to the door. The measurements were exactly like described, I turned a cake stand out of highly figured hard maple

Nice

I bought the cake stand and the dome that goes with it. I think they will nicely cover any 8 or 9 inch round cake, although I haven't tried it yet. The dome is quite high, so most cakes should fit under it.

Excellent value and pretty cloche

I like that this dome/cloche is slightly tapered at the bottom- makes it less basic. Excellent value as the the price makes it so I don't have to beat myself up if I break it. No one would know it's not expensive just looking at it.
