Love it!!!

This game is our family favorite but we have lost the instructions and cannot remember all of the events that happen or what to do!! I also cannot find the pdf version of the directions for this version. Sad but we still live it!!!

Lack of instructions

The instructions that come along are extremely vague. What are the challenge dice for? When do we use them? It looks like a nice game, it is such a shame to not really being able to play with it.

Great game but stopped working after about 6 games

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loved it but after about 6 games it stopped working. We tried replacing the batteries but still no luck. Emailed spinmaster for advice but got no reply. V disappointing when the game costs so much and stops working after such a short period of time. It is a great game so would normally have rated it higher if it hadn't stopped working.

Game Rules

I don't know what the sides represent on the Challenge dice or really how to use them. There is nothing in the box or the instructions about them at all.

Re-living my childhood!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is THE board game for me! When Jumanji was released, I was only 6 and watched it over and over and over. I wanted nothing more than a realistic board game (although I didn't want the real Lion!!) This threw me right back to my childhood - the sound effects are spot on, and the game is endless fun! We've recently gotten our children into watching the original and they love it too! This game has added extra love for the film! The only minor issue for me is the pieces - I would've preferred similar to the real characters, instead of 4 Rhinos, but this doesn't take away from the game at all. The quality of the game is great, I would've loved a wooden version but this is very sturdy and opens/closes without a hitch. It hasn't been flipped (yet!) but I am sure it will stand up to that when one of my children gets upset they're losing! I can't wait for a family get together at Christmas so I can show, and play with, all my siblings! I tortured them with this film as a kid - as I was the youngest - so they'll know the tune as soon as the game opens! I can guarantee they'll know all the answers to the cards like I did! I would recommend this to anyon and everyone who loves Jumanji like I did, it is well worth the price and more! My kids have asked to play daily since we've had it!
