They're wide!

The wide size is actually wide! I normally wear a 7.5, although a 7 is more accurate for the length of my foot. Even when I buy a shoe in a wide width, I still size up to the 7.5 (like I did for these shoes). I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on and realized I could have ordered a size 7. The shoes are a bit long for me, but they are just fine and will be great for the wedding I am going to. The sole has some decent cushion, which is nice. The shoe doesn’t slap down when you walk as much as most sandals, but I do think they could have used a more pliable material on the sole to reduce it even more. I could see the material giving me a blister because the edges seem sharp with the 90-degree corner on the straps. I don’t know that yet since I've only tried them on, so I’m not lowering my rating.
