Oh dear

I was really looking forward to this new, black dressy coat. I ordered size 2 . This coat would fit a bear! If the coat came with a tent pole, I could camp out with it, I am going to return this coat, I look ridiculous in it, as it would even be very long on a 6ft 5 inch runway model! Sorry, Macy’s....this item was a ‘fail’ .

Beware of sizing

I am a little hippy thought this would answer my need - dress coat. I ordered an 18 - coat is 2-3 sizes too large. I am 5'4" coat nearly came to floor. Would highly recommend whatever your size order 2 sizes smaller

Too long!!!

Ordered this coat to replace my old black coat. After reading the reviews I ordered a size 10 instead of the 14 I usually order. It was a perfect size, however it was still too long. About 4 inches to the floor (I am 5 4). It looked more like a bath robe on me than a coat. It is beautiful. Had to return it.

Awesome material, very big size

Awesome material, very big size I highly recommend it but consider getting tow sizes bigger

Great All-Purpose Coat

Saw coat in store. Apparently a returned order. Normally wear a Size 10; coat is a size 4; tried it on and it fit perfectly. Checked workmanship...good. Nice blend of wool, alpaca and nylon. Would wear well. I am 5'6". Looks great with high heeled pumps or boots, as well as jeans and lower heeled shoes or boots. Very versatile styling. Can dress it up with beautiful wraps or brooches; or, wear it plain for casual times. Very happy with this purchase.

Frumpy-dumpy

So, so disappointed in this coat. For starters, the fabric was nasty. I mean scratchy, really rough looking, and cheap looking. This coat was not stylish at all. Immediate return. I expected more from Jones New York.

Looks good, but quality not the greatest

The cut of this is perfect for me. I have gained weight, and this cut is very forgiving. But the lining ripped in two place within the first month, the buttons showed frayed threads and the right-hand pocket got a hole in it within the first few weeks. I am not hard on my clothes and I believe these issues to be related to poor quality workmanship and fabric. The cut is nice, but it is not made so well.

great looking coat

beautiful coat but way too big! ordered it smaller than my usual size 8. the size 6 was still too big and i re- ordered it in a 4. one good thing it was even less money this time!
