Comfort and Style

This is one of the few dress shoes I’ve tried where I love the look and the feel. They are definitely comfort-driven with the memory foam sole. Like most leather shoes, they will also stretch a tiny bit and become more comfortable with wear.

The Perfect Shoe for Work & Theatre

The classic look of this shoe is really spectacular, and looks exactly as it does in photos. The underside padding is a revelation, and allows for a lot of walking with less stress on the foot. I’d definitely recommend this shoe to those in customer service jobs as well as anyone looking for classic black shoes for theatre productions, as the memory foam padding is quite forgiving.

Perfect size and comfort

Ordered 10.5 for my son . He has a wider foot and normally would be a 10 W but since this shoe is only M width , the extra half size was a perfect more comfortable fit . Color goes perfect with all shades of tan /brown pants . Worth the price . Great quality and durability.

Shoe size issue

I purchased two pairs of Johnston Murphy shoes a few years ago (size 9.5 M) and ordered a new pair last month (same size). I received the new pair and could not wear them. The new pair was TOO Small (even though all 3 pairs were 9.5 M size). I sent them back and bought a pair of Florsheim from a brick and mortar store that fit perfectly (size 9.5M). I am very happy with customer service but am leary about ordering more shoes online.

Johnston & Murphy Comfort

The reason why I return to Johnston and Murphy is because of the comfort and style the shoes offer. They are perfect for a long day at the office. Color was a little darker than I expected. Sizing was the same as other J&M shoes I've purchased in the past.
