This was the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned. I cannot believe J&M would discontinue them. There is no other pair of J&M shoes that are this comfortable. It's a sad day indeed.

A very good looking boot that will go anywhere with you.
I bought mine for a trip to New York for Christmas in 2014. I only bought them for that trip but have come to fall in love with them. I’ve hiked mountains, trekked many other big cities, worn them to the grocery store, you name it, I’ve done it in these boots. It’s been nine years and they are just as good as new. The rubber outsole needs trimming around the edges every so often but that is to be expected when walking a lot in boots with a softer rubber outsole. I’ve got my moneys worth and more with these. Bottom line, they are a very handsome boot, they are extremely comfortable, and they are built to last a very very long time.

My 4th pair just ordered !!
I took advantage of a sale price and got the blood red color. I’ve worn this shoe for about 15 years in grey, nubuck and raw tan. It is extremely comfortable and looks great with jeans. The crepe sole is Long lasting. My first pair recently needed some new soles due to the toe area going unglued, but after about 14 years or so that shouldn’t be a surprise. Fit is great. Warm in the winter. Sharp look and finish. Get em!!!!

The ridge above the heel is uncomfortable
Love J&M shoes. Unfortunately this shoe has to fit perfectly, otherwise the ridge will hurt the back of your heel. Planning to return them and maybe try another pair or get another model. It's a nice Chukka.

Consider another boot
I have to say I liked my purchase of these boots at first as they look good and go with just about everything but the major flaw is they wear out very quickly. For the price you pay for these boots I would have expected better quality and lasting much longer. Very unfortunate as I had hoped I found a place to be a repeat buyer of nice, comfortable boots.

5 years strong!
I've had this exact pair of chukka boots since 2018...or 2019 I can't remember exactly, but the point is I still have them! I wear them a lot and they are still in amazing condition. They are the most comfortable boots I have. Would definitely buy again! For now I will just buy some cleaning products in order to maintain this well made boots!

Sad Not Comparable to Hunley Chukka Quality & Sizing
I was hoping that these would be the Perfect Replacement for my lovely Hunley Chukka super comfortable boots. Unfortunately these Copeland Chukka toes are Pointed and Not rounded like Hunley and my Small toe gets pinched. I wish that J&M would Resurrect Hunley Chukka Brand and get it made in the same country that made the old ones ... seems manufacturing is different in different countries. But these shoes if they get the same correct sizing as Hunley they would be 5 Stars. I am torn on giving how many stars and if I would recommend to a friend or not. The shoes Feel Great Material ... build seems really good but they just don't cut it as the HUNLEY CHUKKAs did. I had to Return the Shoes.
