Worst packaging
I bought 2 bottles of cologne as a gift and they delivered it in one single makeshift box and unwrapped. The cologne was too expensive to place in a box like that unwrapped. How cheep! So disappointing

A long-lasting, unique, classy, masculine scent.
A sophisticated masculine scent. If, when you see "vanilla" in the title, you imagine sweet vanilla cupcakes, It will most certainly break your expectations. There is very little sweetness here, especially at first. It opens with 90% Vetiver, of the smokey variety, very similar to Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver. There is a faint, warm glow of vanilla similar to that of vanilla extract or vanilla bourbon. As the fragrance develops, the vetiver calms down, eventually giving way to the soft vanilla bourbon almost completely by the 4 hour mark. It does however retain about 20% of the vetiver accord for almost the entirety of the 8 hours before it becomes a skin scent. Quite long lasting compared to many of the other fragrances from Jo Malone London. This fragrance is definitely wearable by anyone confident enough to wear it, though it leans masculine in my opinion and would go best as either a daily wear with smart casual attire, or, as a special occasion fragrance with semi-formal or formal attire. If you know you like Vetiver, you will like this, even if you are unsure about the Vanilla. I cannot express enough that the Vanilla in this is no sweeter than if you were to sniff pure vanilla extract. It is warm, comforting, glowing, but it is certainly not sweet. This is one of my top 3 favorite fragrances of all time from any house, and I dearly hope that it continues to stay in production as from what I can tell it does not begin to garner the popularity it deserves, often overshadowed by scents like Myrrh & Tonka, another great fragrance from JML in its own right. Once again, if you know you enjoy Vetiver centric scents, definitely give Vetiver & Golden Vanilla a try. You won't regret it.

One of the best scents but doesn't last
This is one of the best scents I've ever purchased but after wearing it for two weeks I realized it doesn't last long at all, after about an hour it's so faint on the skin as if I never put it on. For the price I would expect this cologne to last a lot longer.. kind of disappointed because the smell is so incredible!
