JLabHear OTC Hearing Aid & Earbuds

A good first try, but the Hear OTC falls short

These OTC earbuds have great potential, but they've got a way to go before I could recommend them. The price is amazing, and the sound for streaming audio is excellent. As hearing aids, however, they have problems. The sound is distorted at the higher frequencies, even on the lowest settings, and it is very difficult to eliminate occlusion, where you hear your own voice as if you had your ear canals blocked. Compared to my much more expensive (but still reasonably priced) Lucid Engage OTC hearing aids, the Hear OTC is far inferior. I still value the Hear OTC as backup devices, but as a device for regular use it falls short.

Great Fit

love the earbuds! Great fit and great quality. I will be buying these for christmas presents this year for the entire family. It's nice having so many color options and ear bud sizes.

doesnt disappoint

i already had a good feeling about these, as i have used jlabs before. i would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable hearing aid that are easy to use. also to boot is the app which adds a neat customization feature that you dont see in a lot of hearing aids that are over the counter. i would definitely buy again in a few years

Great earbuds, terrible app

Great sounding earbuds, but the phone app is very confusing and not very user intuitive, this is my fourth pair of jlabs earbuds, I loose things easily, but can't say much about the app....won't let me make any adjustments via the app....

Excellent product

I've had these only 2 days, but I can tell you these OTC earbuds are amazing.. I wear hearing aids and have been for awhile now I was looking for something to use while I'm working outside. I have a fear of loosing my hearing aids or something worse. Anyway I find myself wearing these buds all the time even doing my normal routine. They are comfortable and have just the right amount of amplification for my needs as I have mild to moderate hearing loss. The Bluetooth function works well pairs right up with my android phone. If they have one problem it would be the case as it has a type c male end built-in and without a adapter it's impossible to charge. All in all Jlab has a winner with these earbuds!!!

Will not recommend!

If you really cared about your customers, you would’ve mentioned I needed a special plug to charge these earbuds. I was excited to get these; then I found they don’t fit any of multiple charger plugs I own. Now I have to go out and hope to find one that works. This is not simple because I already bought 2 that should work but do not. Why isn’t the correct plug included???
