Flattering

This is a very flattering style for all body types. Comfortable, lined, lightweight, dress up or down. Skirt has a nice flow. I had to take a few stitches to close up the neckline a little, because it showed more than I wanted to. But the length was good for a Petite XL, not too long (I’m 5’2”.) Note that this dress runs really small in the bust and bodice. I usually wear a petite M, had to size up to petite XL for this one.

Disappointed

The colors are very pretty in this dress, but the label didn’t match what is advertised on Macy website. I’ve ordered the dress in a PM it was too tight across the rib cage. I have a dress by this brand advertised on the website in a PM & it fits fine. Not sure what is going on with this dress but I’m returning & won’t reorder.

So pretty!

Love this brand, love this dress! While I'm 5'6" and should not be a petite, I am shorter up top and have longer legs, so buying dresses is difficult for me. But I love them! So if I go up one size, some petite dresses and tops work for me. 39" bust, the PL fits perfectly! The length is fine, and the top part of the dress fits wonderfully, like it was made for me. This is my second Jamie & Layla (Harlow & Rose on the tag) dress and I highly recommend them. The material is soft and non-irritating (important), the styles are fashionable and flattering, and the colors are beautiful. All that plus easy wash and dry on delicate, no ironing, no problems ever. I'll be back for more! (And a big THANK YOU to the Macy's employees who read my note and did NOT add stinky fragrance samples to my order, as the samples make us sick and ruin the garments. You are very much appreciated!)
