Great for smoothies

We use this blender exclusively for smoothies. Quiet and effective with greens. When the cup is near full, though, the lid tends to release (thank goodness for the hood). Deducting one star for the faulty sealing mechanism. Love the minimal look so I can keep it on the counter.
