Sturdy and well made

I bought this ironing board to replace another Brabantia one, as, after 20 years, the steam unit holder had started to become unreliable. I didn't hesitate about buying another Brabantia ironing board, as they are solidly built and I like the way Brabantia sell replacement parts. I wasn't sure whether I would use the ironing rack attached to the board, but it has proved very useful, and I don't know why I didn't have one before. The board is solid and well made, and doesn't wobble when in use. The cover is securely fitted and I have no issues with 'ironing puddles'. The ironing surface is large, but the board folds compactly-the ironing rack doesn't seem to add any bulk to it, which is important in my small storage area.
