Ehh

I loved my first roomba so much that when my son broke it, I HAD to get another. However, this one has been a hassle. It was great the first couple of months, but now it seems as though it's more work for me to constantly fix it and buy parts :(

Very glitchy and takes rebooting a LOT, do not recommend!

When it works it is great. The sensors are very finicky and will always say it has some sort of malfunction. I have to reboot and restart sometimes twice a week. The brushes are always getting tangled and have to be cleaned out almost very use. Dust will get on the sensor and then say it needs fixed when really it just needs wiped off (like almost every use).

Great Design, Exceptional Performance, Some Issues

First off the design is very compact and attractive. I love the silver top and matte black finish. It's super easy to keep it clean. The navigation is very impressive. Most of my debris is picked up after each run but on some runs it does miss spots. Not as loud as an upright so you can run it when you're home. Easy to maintain and clean. My only issues have been software related. I had to create a new map because the only got corrupted when it kept updating it after each run. It will randomly reboot and some times it freezes. Even with these issues it's saves me hours of my time and keeps the dust and dirt at bay.

I would buy this product again however...

I run my iRobot EVERY day and I love it in general. However I have 5 dogs and it struggles each day with the amount. It bogs down the rubber spinners and leaves long twists of pet hair on the edges of my area rugs. The flip side is iRobot gets under everything, in every corner, and large space areas. I would buy another one but I'd love more power to handle homes that aren't average.

Not As Good As I Thought...

Household of only 2 people. Misses MANY spots. Comes up against wall & literally just goes "round & round" in same area. I have to pick it up & babysit it. Consistently gets "stuck" on flat surfaces. Most of the time ...I just have to sweep after it has "cleaned" :(

Could be greatly improved

The battery never lasts enough to do a total home cleaning and I live in a very modest 1600sq foot house. You also need to have the lights on in all the rooms while it works so that drives up your electricity costs because it takes very inefficient paths to get the cleaning done. its dust bin is incredibly small as well so you will have to babysit it to make sure it's still sucking up dirt and dust. You can turn the feature off to stop when its dust bin is full, but what use is that? The vacuum would just be essentially leaving dirt and dust in the carpets. I was trying to buy something that was headquartered in the USA, but sadly this has let me down compared to the other brand I had before this unit.
